Dixie Stampede

The Dixie Stampede was pretty neat. It was a dinner and show type thing. It themed around the civil war and north vs south....and with our other half of the family being dang Yankees we sat on the north but don't tell anyone we are really not traitors!! It was mamo and Papo's anniversary! it was cute.....you did not get any flatware and you drank tea out of a mason jar. They served soup stuff (i didn't taste it...you had to drink it) and a biscuit, a whole chicken, slice of pork loin, potato wedge, corn on the cob and apple turn over. Cayden didn't want any of the chicken breast i was trying to give him so i just kept eating and he kept playing with my chicken wing (he had to sit in my lap or i had to buy him a $20 ticket), so finally i just pulled it off an gave it to him....and then the corn came and he took mine and nikki's over! They would sing and Cayden had the chicken wing in one hand and the corn in the other standing in my lap and when it would get loud he would throw both hands up but never let go of the food (Thank God!). Nikki has a few better pictures of him and his chicken wing i will have to put them up when i get them!
